However, the search return is almost as confusing as the browse function. What returns do I see? 140 results, and many are not close to what I’m looking for. It displays pages of lag bolts of many different types, but also lag screws, eye screws, even flat washers. Try this yourself and you’ll also become equally frustrated.
My utopia is that I can simply have a bi-directional conversation with this app to help me narrow down exactly what I’m looking for. I don’t want to be the one doing the guessing and clicking. I want the app to do that for me and behind the scenes. To do the filtering and narrowing for me like an expert sitting right there at my side, filtering out as we go, to arrive at EXACTLY what I need. In my conversational search, it would ask me the length and thickness desired, screw or bolt, with a washer or without, galvanized or not, and so on. The app has the intelligence to whittle down the possible options to the desired outcome WITH me. This is the future collaborative app I’m looking for.
